SuggiGather is a participation layer for physical communities. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. The guiding principle is simple: physical credentials carry only an anonymous identifier, personal information stays in a secure database, and you decide what is shared.
When you register, we ask for your first name, last name and email. We also invite you to share your organisation, role, interests and what you would like to get from the experience. These details are optional, and they help SuggiGather recommend people, groups and opportunities relevant to you.
When you are recognised on arrival, we record that you arrived and any connections or participation that follow. We do not record your location beyond the place where the experience is taking place, and we do not track your movements.
If you are issued a physical credential for an experience, it carries only an anonymous identifier — never your name, email, organisation or any other personal detail. The identifier is matched to your record in a secure database. The credential itself holds no personal information.
We use your information to recognise you when you arrive, to recommend people and opportunities, to record your participation history, and to give organisers a calm overview of how their community is participating.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
During registration you can choose whether to participate, whether your profile is visible to others, whether you receive recommendations, and whether your participation history is kept. You can change these choices at any time. Where consent is withheld, the related features are simply switched off for you.
Personal information is held in a secure database with row-level access controls. Physical credentials never carry personal data, so a lost or transferred credential exposes no profile — only an identifier that can be reassigned or revoked.
We keep your information for as long as you are an active member of an experience, and for a reasonable period afterwards so that your participation history remains useful. You can ask us to remove your information at any time.
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You can also withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact the organiser of your experience or SuggiGather support.
SuggiGather is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
If we update this policy, we will change the date above and review the changes before they take effect. Continued use of SuggiGather after a change means you accept the updated policy.
